Description
  
The PT88BSPRO motherboard is designed for Intel Pentium 4 LGA775 533/800MHZ Front Side Bus Frequency CPU's and the memory size is expandable to 4.0GB. By using VIA PT880PRO chipset which provides 800/533MHz Front Side Bus frequency and Dual channel DDR266/333/400 SDRAM support as an obvious further step to the next generation of 533/800MHz processors. These motherboards also offer ULTRA ATA 133 and Serial ATA RAID 0,1 functions to provide faster HDD throughout that boosts overall system performance. Integrated AC'97 CODEC audio on system supports 8-channel speaker for 3D Surround Effect which is fully compatible with Sound Blaster Pro that gives you the best sound quality and compatibility. AGP 8X slot enables more complex models and detailed textures with AGP 8X graphic accelerators which creates richer and more lifelike virtual environments.

    • PLEASE NOTE:
    • This motherboard DOES NOT support high density or ECC memory.
    • Use identical memory modules to use dual channel mode, and DO NOT use three individual sticks of memory as it may cause failures. Please use either 1 piece, 2 pieces, or 4 pieces. Refer to your manual for proper memory configurations for your motherboard.
    • Maximum memory speed may decrease when the following memory combination is used:
      - Each memory slot is installed with double-sided memory
      - Both DIMM1 and DIMM3 are installed with double-sided memory module (for motherboards with 4 DIMM sockets)
    • Due to resource usage by the South Bridge chipset, system memory may only detect up to 3.9 GB (not the full 4GB) when each DIMM is installed with a 1GB memory stick. To utilize a full 4GB of system memory, you will need to use 2x 2GB sticks of memory.
